Hear two new songs from Woods & Ultimate Painting from their tour-only split single

Woods and Ultimate Painting team up for a limited edition 7-inch to celebrate their 2016 tour which launches tomorrow in Ithaca, NY. A co-release from Woodsist and Trouble In Mind Records, the single is limited to 1,000 copies and features a brand new, exclusive unreleased track from each band with excellent cover art from Andrew Savage of Parquet Courts. Both tracks are streaming now over at Stereogum. It will be released digitally on May 20, in the meantime you can buy the vinyl at their tour dates (see full list below). In other Woods news, you may have caught a brief interview with Jeremy Earl on NPR’s Morning Edition this morning, and earlier this week the band also shared the new skate video for the song “I See In The Dark,” part of their collaboration with Habitat which also yielded a Woods skate deck with the cover art of City Sun Eater In The River of Light (and comes with a download of the album).
