Today Neon Indian shares the official video for “Annie,” directed by Alan Palomo himself, via Noisey. The video also premiered on the big screen over the past weekend at the Sundance Next Fest at the Ace Hotel in Downtown LA, which also premiered amazing new works from Blood Orange, Flying Lotus and Mark Pritchard & Thom Yorke. Watch the video at Noisey. The band has also announced a fall tour of North America, most of the shows will be co-headlining with Classixx (see full list of dates below).
Video Synopsis:
A karaoke video turned fever dream in which Alan has to traverse B-roll cityscapes, taped over TV shows, and phone sex commercial breaks in search of a missing ex-lover. Shot over 8 cities on Neon Indian’s last tour of Asia, all libidinal hell breaks loose in this glistening meta ode to laserdisc-era sing-alongs.
