Domino is proud to announce the completion of a new worldwide deal with prolific New Jersey songwriters Martin Courtney, Matthew Mondanile and Alex Bleeker – known collectively as Real Estate. The label will release the band’s sophomore album in October 2011 and also release and support further work from the group’s other projects – namely Ducktails and Alex Bleeker and the Freaks (the solo output of Mondanile and Bleeker respectively) in the future.
More information on the much-awaited new Real Estate album – currently in the final stages of completion – will be made available soon.
In the meantime, the band, led by Courtney and featuring permanent new live drummer Jackson Pollis, will be taking their new songs on tour in a string of North American headlining dates including a performance at the Woodsist Festival in Big Sur, California and an opening slot for legendary fellow New Jersey band The Feelies at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.
