The Kitchenettes are three friends from the San Francisco Bay Area’s outrageously fertile indie scene who have been quietly impressing crowds for several years with their fragile homespun pop songs. The Kitchenettes are a San Francisco band formed by Morgan (The Umbrellas, Telephone Numbers), Emily, and Sequoia (The Snogs) in their garage. Their songwriting is collaborative and intuitive, yielding patchwork pop songs with heart and charm. The group’s combined sensibilities and vocal styles evoke 80’s and 90’s indie pop and bygone girl bands. Favoring melody and feeling, The Kitchenettes write songs that’ll stick in your mind.
