Bio

Since 2013, Marion Belle has been a cult crooner whose new wave anthems are known for their blend of lushness and swagger. Through dream pop outfit Fatal Jamz he has fashioned a sound at once as heavenly and as thugged out as the LA streets he can’t escape. He was asked to open Sky Ferreira’s “Night Time, My Time” Tour across the US when Smith Westerns lead singer Cullen Omori heard the underground single “Rookie.”  After the 2016 release of “Coverboy,” an LP I-d called “a glam-rock Romeo & Juliet,” Belle starred in the video for Weyes Blood’s lead single “7 Words,” which was followed by a tour. A frequent collaborator, Belle has produced 2 tracks with Sean Bowie of Yves Tumor, and most recently released a 5 song ep in conjunction with the late Test Icicles founder Sam Mehran, which Pitchfork premiered last year.

With SOUNDCHECK, a song co-written and produced by Bram Inscore (Troye Sivan, Beck), Belle marks his solo debut.
