The CNN link posted above is one of several promo spots being used by the cable news network this year during their election coverage, all of which feature the song “Get Your Head Around It” by Headlights (taken from their 2008 album Some Racing, Some Stopping). The band plays Chicago tonight and then next week launches a month-long European tour in Belgium. The band has also asked a bunch of their friends, including The Album Leaf, Casiotone, Son Lux and TJ Lipple of Aloha, to remix songs from both of their records (Kill Them With Kindness and SRSS) for a new remix album simply titled Remixes, out Dec. 9 on Polyvinyl.
