Austin, Texas (October 18, 2010) – Fun Fun Fun Fest is proud to present the full spectacle and circus of excitement and entertainment that is the Fun Fun Circus area at this year’s fest in Austin, TX on November 5 – 7, 2010. Events throughout the weekend will include comedy, wrestling, live stunts, air sex competitions, a veggie hotdog eating contest, the Alamo Drafthouse Master Pancake Video Jukebox, and more.
Fun Fun Fun Fest Founder Graham Williams and Transmission Entertainment have expanded the comedy stage this year to include a wider range of entertainment, making it more like attending a rock and roll circus as opposed to just seeing an outdoor concert. The Yellow stage will feature comedians (Matt Bearden, JT Habersaat, Moshe Kasher, Sean Patton, New Movement Comedy Group, More); maniacal and animated musical sets from Monotonix and Mariachi El Bronx; painful displays of human self-destruction with Anarchy Championship Wrestling and a Live Stunt Show by Jacob Calle of “What the Hell”; and even events the crowd can participate in like the Veggie Hotdog Eating Contest and the Air Sex Contest. In the Fun Fun Circus area, fans will also find things to do like vintage video games, lounge zones, bungee, mechanical bulls, and more.
“This year, the Fun Fun Circus is going to be hilarious and insane. Its good to have a place to get away between shows, take a break, see some comedy, get some air sex tips or ride a mechanical bull, then jump back into the fire when you are ready” said James Moody, promoter and partner with Williams. “I’m sure Monotonix will be swinging from everything that they can back there – it is sure to be crazy and fun.”
This year’s music lineup of more than 80 acts ranging from hip hop to punk rock including “Weird Al” Yankovic, Suicidal Tendencies, Mastodon, Devo, Slick Rick, Bad Religion, Capn’ Jazz, The Hold Steady, Devin the Dude, RJD2, The Vandals, Gwar, Pharoahe Monch, and many more.
