Jesse and Zinzi have revamped their online store with new vinyl, school seal stickers and a handmade Aloha shirt. The Hawaiian-print shirt was made in collaboration with Arrowhead clothing company and features a hangtag with 4 exclusive b sides for fans to download. All details here.
Produced by Saint Etienne’s Pete Wiggs and Tim Laracombe, Kids in LA is driven by crisp and thudding drum machines. The record is riddled with the evocative rhythms of late 80s freestyle (Debbie Deb, Lisa Lisa). Paired with lightly-effected guitars and warm analog keyboards, the mood is distinct: cold and anxious, yet rich, inviting, and melodic. Out on May 14 with Cascine.
Kisses is touring the West Coast next month and performing at the Cascine Showcase at Northside Festival in June. Full dates below.
