Following the release of his sophomore album ‘Mister Divine’ last year on City Slang, Naytronix (Nate Brenner of tUnE-yArDs) shares the kaleidoscopic video for album track “Dream.” The video arrives just two days before the start of his forthcoming month-long tour, including shows at the Cake Shop in New York on March 10 and Treefort Music Festival in Boise March 25-27. Full tour dates listed below.
‘Mister Divine’ is hard to pin down periodically; modern themes fuse seamlessly with classic elements. There’s dub, there’s funk, there’s minimalist new wave, there’s jazz, hip hop and lots of electronics. More importantly there’s a lot of soul and warmth in these songs. Naytronix belongs to no musical microcosm other than it’s own, it’s own small tiny galaxy… but it’s expanding. It’s available now via City Slang.
