The latest installment of Pitchfork TV’s Over/ Under series features Neon Indian’s Alan Palomo rating things like Guy Fieri, Ted Cruz and phone sex hotlines. Over the weekend, Palomo was asked by The Guardian to write an essay about Prince, obviously one of his all-time heroes and musican inspirations, you can read the essay, titled “Prince, the purple unicorn” here. Last week also saw the release of his remix of Holy Ghost’s track “Crime Cutz” and the announcement of a free NYC this summer on Aug. 9 at the East River Park Ampitheater.
