“What they’ve put out – what’s on the way – is some pretty compelling stuff.” – Rolling Stone

“If you’ve ever hungered to hear Hope Sandoval fronting a psych-rock combo just as hypnotic as Mazzy Star but much heavier and murkier, Brooklyn’s Heliotropes fit the bill perfectly.” – Village Voice

“While Heliotropes are known for chunky riffs, first single ‘Easy’ shows the band’s softer side.” – Brooklyn Vegan

” Heliotropes show a surprisingly mature and focused control of their formula on ‘A Constant Sea’, luring you in only to eat you alive.” – Consequence of Sound

“…front woman Jessica Numsuwankijkul explores the experience of disappointment or struggle in a more subdued way, through easy rock inspired riffs and the recurring metaphor of war.” – Lenny
