COLLAPSING SCENERY IS THE MEETING OF TWO FERTILE AND FEBRILE MINDS, DON DE VORE AND REGGIE DEBRIS. TOGETHER THEY STRADDLE THE GAP BETWEEN THE MUSIC, ART, FILM AND POLITICS, SEAMLESSLY MOVING BETWEEN EACH WITH THE SAME EASE AT WHICH THEY TRAVERSE THE GLOBE, SOAKING UP EXPERIENCES AND IMMERSING THEMSELVES IN DIFFERENT CULTURES.

Today the duo shares the new single “The Resort Beyond The Last Resort” via their own Metropolitan Indian label with a premiere at Self-Titled Magazine. The song features the always amazing Mary Lattimore on harp. The single is backed with remixes by Acemo, Uniform and MLML.

Regarding the song:
“The term ‘The Resort Beyond the Last Resort’ is CIA slang for assassination. I can’t think of a governmental organization that’s been more wrong more consistently with more disastrous consequences than the CIA. From Mossadegh and Arbenz to Allende to torture and rendition, the CIA has proven again and again that it exists not only in a moral vacuum but also a strategic one. It’s worth remembering this as the center-left fawns all over our intelligence community just because they’ve shown a modicum of independence from our monstrous president.” -Reggie Debris
