There was so much great new music this year, it was overwhelming at times, and that’s putting it mildly. We have left off some albums from our list that we did like a lot simply because they were on almost every other year-end list (looking at you, Big Thief & Alvvays) in order to shine a light on some lesser-known gems that didn’t get the accolades they deserved.
