For the past few years, just for fun, we’ve kept an ongoing playlist of what we’re listening to in the office — one playlist for the releases we’re working and the SELECTS playlist (as we’re calling it now) for stuff we’re not working. We are pretty picky when it comes to adding songs to this one, but we are also open to your suggestions if there’s something you think we’ve overlooked. Also, generally we do not include reissues on this playlist, unless it’s a record that has never before been released in the US or something that’s been unearthed from a 78. So, basically, don’t expect any De La Soul on this playlist even though we are VERY excited about those reissues. We will be highlighting interesting reissues throughout the year with their own individual blog posts. Enjoy the playlist!
